| Michelle's
story goes like this. She was 7 years old and living in our foster care program
when she requested a computer for Christmas from her foster mother. The foster mother explained she could not afford a computer nor could the Department of
Children and Families purchase computers for foster children.
From this original need, the very simple, yet powerful concept of "Michelle's Project" emerged. The goal is to provide each of the 226 foster homes in Palm Beach County with a computer, printer and appropriate educational software. |
|
We are very pleased to say that Michelle has been given a couple of computers since the original request and she also got her biggest wish in life granted; that was to have a family of her own. Michelle was adopted in 2001 |
